about

I've been very fortunate to have had diverse roles throughout my career that have enabled me to learn and appreciate a wide range of technologies and tools across the entertainment and broadcast industries.

At TWC I worked with Blackmagic Cameras, Tricaster and ATEM switchers. As the organization adopted VMIX and Davinci Resolve in their production pipeline, I had the opportunity to learn, work with and eventually adopt these tools into my own little endeavors. As my interest grew for Live streaming, 5stream offered me a chance to work with their Cloudmix software as well as their LiveU units. At Videocraft I had the opportunity to learn about, test and prepare gear from lots of manufacturers, including but no limited to Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Nanlite, Teradek, Hollyland and Blackmagic.

Asides from trying to master the fundamentals of production, (and whilst trying to stay as domain specific as possible), I'm attempting to learn the basics of networking and scripting for productivity and automation.

Guided by my formal and informal interests in the liberal arts, I aim to bring varied insights into content creation and presentation. Hopefully, that positions me to contribute to projects as well as to be a reliable asset in the goals of teams and organizations.

If I do manage to keep this website somewhat updated, you should see a blog with entries on my hobbies which would be invariably tied to projects and activities from my HomeLab.

Born in Honduras, I live with my diosita and my two lovely chigüínes in Melbourne, Australia.
